Plot: Set in Texas in 1935, a wildcatter who never has any luck is optimistic that the land beneath a cotton farm in the town of Henrietta holds black gold. However, the farm is owned by a poor couple who have no money to drill. The wildcatter resorts to extreme measures to get the money to finally drill, saving himself and the poor landowners.
